Trivia Game for Active Seniors Modeled After the Popular NCAA Basketball Tournament. A Trivia Host Conducts the Tournament Where Teams Compete to Advance to Each Of 6 Rounds of Competition and Can Win Cash Prizes for Their Respective Cities.


2023 will mark the 5th year after tremendously successful campaigns in 2019,2020, 2021 and 2022


Beginning Year 5 on May 8, 2023. Began In 2019 With 16 Cities and Close To 100 Participants. In Year 2, Grew To 36 Cities (Final Of 34-Two Adjacent Cities Merged into One Team) And Approximately 500 Participants. And year 3 wrapped up with 30 cities and 300 participants.  Year 4 was a record year with over 520 players representing 90 teams and over 50 cities.


Cash Prizes Awarded to The Final Four Cities Competing Totaling $ 5,500.00 

Sponsorships Available as Vendors Are Able to Give Their Elevator Speeches Prior To Each Event- Over 50 Separate Opportunities, Along with Website and Collateral Incentives.

Is there a cost to play?

 There are no costs to individuals, teams or the senior centers

Do I play as an individual or on a team?

 The Mind Challenge is a team-oriented tournament. Minimum of 4 and maximum of 6 players per team

Is there a limit to the number of teams that can represent a city?

There is no limit to the number of teams representing a city or a senior center, in fact we encourage multiple team representation for a city. It increases the city's chances to win. 

Who picks the teams?

You can have a team already assembled or if you cannot form a team, you can play with an already established team. No one is turned away! 

What do I need to do to sign up?

Contact your neighborhood senior center to sign up. Or contact the Mind Challenge Team:  poppaart3@gmail.com  pglevine13@gmail.com 

How do you play the game?

It is very simple. The trivia host asks the questions. Your team has 90 seconds to collaborate and come up with the answer to the question. Point values are established for questions within each round of the tournament. Your team determines what point value you wish to give to the specific question. Winning teams are determined by the most points they've achieved during the tournament.

Do I need to bring anything when registering to play?

Just provide your name, a phone number you’ll answer and an email address

What if I don’t have an email address?

 It’s ok. The Mind Challenge staff will use the senior center email address
